newsbeuter software package provides text mode rss feed reader with podcast support, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install newsbeuter
newsbeuter is installed in your system.
Make ensure the newsbeuter package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep newsbeuter *
You will get with newsbeuter package name, version, architecture and description in a table
